NOBODY LIKES A GRINCH GREEN JUICE

Green juice is a powerful ally in improving immune function and fostering overall health. Starting with your favorite leafy greens is a great way to get essential vitamins C and E + minerals, such as magnesium and iron. Most of the liquid comes from refreshing cucumbers. The celery adds fiber and a subtle saltiness. You can never go wrong with fresh ginger; it adds the perfect spice and offers anti-inflammatory benefits. Adding ginkgo tincture elevates these nutrients, fortifying the immune system to help prevent illness and vitality. 

Ingredients:

• 1 head of Leafy Greens I'm using a combination of kale and baby spinach for a complex grassy flavor, but you can swap in your favorite leafy greens if you have others you prefer.
• 6 stalks of celery
• 1-2 peeled Cucumber
• One inch of Fresh Ginger
• 1-2 peeled limes
• 1 Dropper full of Medicinal Blends Ginkgo Brain Tonic
• 1 Apple (optional to add if you want to make the juice a little sweeter)

Instructions:

If you are using a juicer, feed all the ingredients into the juicer and enjoy!

If using a high-powered blender, blend all the ingredients for about 3 minutes or until smooth. Start by adding the cucumber first, as placing it closest to the blades will help it blend more easily. Then, add the remaining ingredients.

Next, strain the juice using a fine-mesh strainer. Press the solids with the back of a spoon to extract as much juice as possible. Alternatively, you can use a nut milk bag, which is my preferred method.

Once strained, transfer the juice to the refrigerator to chill until cold. Pour it into a glass and enjoy!
